Due to the current coronavirus situation, we are now asking patients to use AskMyGP when they wish to book any appointments at the practice including nurse appointments so that we can screen the request fully. To ask for a nurse appointment please just raise the request in exactly the same way as you would for a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner appointment.
During Covid-19 we ask that patients do not come to the surgery unless invited to do so by the practice. We are trying to protect vulnerable patients, and practice staff. We have also reduced some of our services so that we can focus on managing patients with Covid-19. We are still able to assess and advise patients remotely about any concerns that they have which are not Covid-19 related. You can contact the surgery to get advice and assessment online via AskMyGP or by telephone. If a clinician thinks that you need to be seen they can arrange for an appropriate appointment or perform a video consultation.
PLEASE NOTE:- All repeat prescriptions should be requested through SystmOnline as usual. However during this difficult time, if you do not have access to SystmOnline for ordering repeat prescriptions, requests can be sent via AskMyGP. Please allow longer for your repeat prescriptions to be processed as both the practice and local pharmacies are experiencing staff shortages caused by coronavirus. Thank you
With effect from Monday 8th June 2020, the dispensary at Nettleham will be open until 6:30pm every weekday.
Coronavirus / COVID-19 Advice
If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new, continuous cough and a high temperature, you are advised to stay at home for 7 days. Do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP practice. If you live with other people, they should also stay at home for at least 14 days, to avoid spreading the infection outside the home.
If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.
Only call 111 direct if you are advised to do so by the online service or cannot go online.

Temporary Closure of Cherry Willingham Surgery
With effect from Wednesday 18th March 2020, the practice has had to make the difficult decision to close its branch surgery at Cherry Willingham for at least the next 12 weeks. We have had to make this decision due to staff shortages affected by the latest coronavirus guidance from the Government. By closing the branch surgery and consolidating all staff at the main site at Nettleham, we hope to be able to maintain a full service to all of our patients. We know that a lot of patients will be affected by this closure but hope that you will understand the practice's decision and reasoning and support us during this immensely difficult and fast changing time.
Welcome to Nettleham Medical Practice
We are a semi-rural practice with two sites; Nettleham Medical Practice and Cherry Willingham Branch Surgery. Our Doctors and staff pride ourselves in delivering the highest standard of care to patients in Nettleham and its surrounding villages.
We hope you find this website useful as a source of information about our practice, our staff and the services we provide. You will also find links to other reliable websites for health-related information. We also ensure many of our patient information leaflets and patient forms are available to download.
Please have a look around and do send us some feedback using this form. We can use your thoughts to improve our online services and further develop the website to make it a useful, practical application for our patients.
