FLU VACCINATIONS

We are pleased to announce that you can now book an appointment for a flu vaccine either online or by telephoning the surgery after 10:00am. Our first clinic on Saturday 19th September is only for patients who are aged 65 and over as at 31.3.2021. Our next clinics on Saturday 10th October & Saturday 7th November will be available for all of our at risk patients aged 18 and over. If you are a well person aged between 50 – 64 years of age, it is anticipated that the vaccine will be available for you towards the end of the year. At present the practice is waiting for further information from NHSE & Public Health and are not able to book you in to one of our earlier clinics. The format of the clinics this year will be slightly different in order to be COVID safe. Please only arrive at your appointment time, wearing a face covering and with your arm easily accessible. You will have your temperature taken before entering the practice building and will be guided into a socially distanced queue. Following vaccination, you will be directed to an alternative exit in order to leave the building.
