COVID Vaccination Update from Lincolnshire CCG

Our primary care vaccination centres have started to launch in Lincolnshire. This vaccine delivery model is currently prioritising the over 80 age group. There is a national phased approach to these centres. We are delighted that Lincolnshire featured in the first wave, and are looking forward to the rest of the county launching its centres in the coming days and weeks.

Local vaccination centres are not always a ‘like for like’ with practices, as they are delivered via ‘primary care networks’ across the county. This means that whilst not 100% of surgeries in the county will deliver vaccinations, 100% of the appropriate population registered with them will be able to access vaccinations by a joined up approach between neighbouring GPs.

We would like to remind patients that you do not need to do anything to book an appointment. As soon as a vaccination appointment is available to you, you will be contacted to organise this. Please do not call the surgery.
