Contacting the Practice by Telephone

We are aware that there have been significant problems with telephone answering times at the practice over the last week.  We’re very sorry for these issues and the inconvenience caused.  Unfortunately, this was mostly due to the launch of the flu and covid vaccination bookings, as we sent out booking links to patients with SMS consent and received a large number of calls with queries related to this.  We have learned from the issues experienced and have now produced a guide on how to use the booking links which can be accessed on our website here.

We would be grateful if everyone who can use the internet continues to use askmyGP as this will free up the phone lines for patients who are unable to do so.  If the query is more complicated, a member of our team will always phone you back to clarify.

AskmyGP is open between the hours of 6am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

As always, our phone lines are open between the hours of 8am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Sadly, whilst most patients remain courteous, there has been a significant rise in abuse towards our staff during this difficult time.  We would like to reiterate that abusive behaviour will never be tolerated by the practice and may result in patients being issued a formal warning or removed from the practice list.

Thank you again for your support of the practice.
