Change to askmyGP opening times

From Thursday 23rd May AskMyGP will be open for requests from our usual practice opening time of 8am instead of 6am. We’ve made this change after some patient feedback, and to be in line with national guidance which states that online consultation tools like AskmyGP should be only open to take requests when the practice staff are available to read them (so any urgent requests which should be called through to 111 aren’t delayed when the practice isn’t yet open.)

We realise this may cause inconvenience to some patients who have previously put in early requests, and we apologise for this, but patient safety is paramount.

Surgery and telephone opening hours are unaffected by this change.
