Flu & Covid vaccinations – August 2025

The practice will be sending out letters and booking links to eligible patients this week to invite them for a flu vaccination. If you receive a text message, you can book an appointment yourself without needing to contact the practice. if you would like us to book the appointment for you, please contact the practice between 2.00pm – 4.00pm, Monday – Thursday and select option 4.

We are still awaiting final details of the expected covid vaccination delivery. However, if you book your flu vaccination appointment on a Saturday, we hope to be able to give you the covid vaccination at the same time.

Eligible cohorts for a flu vaccination this year are:

• aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)

• have certain long-term health conditions

• are pregnant

• live in a care home

• are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance

• live with someone who has a weakened immune system
