We want to let you know about a research study we are collaborating with, led by the National Institute for Health Research BioResource Centre Maudsley, researchers at King’s College London.

The Genetic Links to Anxiety and Depression (GLAD) Study is a project set up to explore how our genes and the environment influence the development of anxiety and depression in order to improve future treatment

The study is conducted entirely online and involves signing a consent form, filling out an online questionnaire, and providing a saliva sample from home. We will also ask for access to your medical records and if you are willing to be re-contacted for future research.

If you are interested, you can go online to www.gladstudy.org.uk to learn more and to sign up. You can do this on a computer or on your phone if you have a smartphone. You do not have to take part; the study is entirely voluntary and will not affect your treatment in any way.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the research team by emailing [email protected] or calling 020 7848 1638, Freephone 0800 634 4504.
